Evaluate 1.1.2- Quality Feedback
This shows a list of formative speaking assessments that I used in a French I class to improve speaking proficiency. After listening to each student’s speaking assessment, I replied to them in these Blackboard Voice Board Discussions. As you can see, I provide lots of formative assessments. By the end of these 10 speaking assessments, students showed great improvement in their speaking proficiency.

In this screen shot of a formative speaking assessment, you can see that I replied to students. I gave oral feedback in French so they were able to practice their listening skills. (I removed the students’ names for privacy).

For the first assessment, I provided feedback in English, but after that I used French. The students actually preferred feedback in the target language and said it helped them with improving their listening skills.
